For more than seventy years this company has created and produced that which has been defined and considered for centuries the "food of the gods": CHOCOLATE.
Since it's begining in 1930 the company has always maintained its artisanry, manipulating combinations of the basic ingredients (cocoa, sugar and cocoa butter) in a sort of alchimical research. Originally the work was accomplished in two small rooms in Sesto Fiorentino near Florence, where the production consisted of chocolate blocks, "boeri" and few chocolate eggs (which today represent over 90% of the total production). Over the years, the companie's constant growth has made restructuring necessary several times to its present location in Calenzano, near Florence.
Much has changed in recent years, even in our sweet microcosm. The company has proceeded and is now operating under the guidance of a new directional group, a large, indispensable process of "technological evolution" in various production areas. This was necessary in order for us to fulfill the ever growing request for our chocolate products and remain competitive within the market, as well as to protect the consumer and guarantee the maximum quality product according to the most restrictive regulations on the matter. In the past several months we're began a new line of totally automatic egg production, one of the few in Italy.
